The Ducal Palace and Mantua Cathedral are just a few steps from Hotel dei Gonzaga, set right on the beautiful Sordello Square. It offers free Wi-Fi throughout, and a sweet and savory buffet breakfast....

A lovely hotel with very nice staff - all were very friendly and helpful. The facilities are nice, the location is in town center so a big bonus as you're close to everything you need.
Shops, supermarkets, restaurants are in very close vicinity so very comfortable.
Room is a bit small but was acc. to our expectations.
Good choice if you want the location in Montova city center.
Albergo Bianchi Stazione is set right in front of Mantova Train Station, near Piazza Mantegna and a short walk from the historic center. Rooms offer air conditioning and satellite TV.
The Antica Dimora Mantova dates back to the 17th century and offers beautifully restored accommodations with modern facilities in a convenient location not far from Mantua train station.
A design hotel set in a 19th-century building in Mantua, Casa Poli offers stylish rooms, a courtyard garden, and free Wi-Fi throughout. The city center is 10 minutes’ walk away.

Breakfast was very good, very comfortable room and very convenient location, 10 minutes walking distance far from Palazzo Ducale
Located in Mantova, a few steps from Rotonda di San Lorenzo, Grand Hotel San Lorenzo has accommodations with free bikes, private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace.

I had the opportunity to visit the main attractions, but I'd like to do the boat trip.
In the weekend I was there, there was also a special initiative "Mantova fiorita" with some flowerists in downtown with Mantova flowers and plants which gave a colourful booster to the town!

The city is beautiful, clean and very well run.
The city is beautiful, clean and very well run. Free parking on the edge of town and free shuttle service into centre. For us, it's the city itself more than its many museums and sights that makes the visit worthwhile: wonderful parks, lake-shore, squares and old streets only a short distance from the bustle of the main tourist axis. You can walk pretty much everywhere but the public transport system is good. The free shuttle will bring you from the centre to the Palazzo Te (1.5 km from the Palazzo Ducale). To be honest, I preferred the huge park and its cafés to the palace itself, which was full of school tours that day!

Mantova has been the biggest surprise of our 8-day trip through Tuscany and its surroundings. We came here at the insistence of friends who live in Italy, and we are thrilled. The city is beautiful, with impressive architecture, monumental squares, and a lively atmosphere that pulses through its streets. There aren't too many tourists around, which makes it even more appealing. We happened to arrive at a momentous time when the Mantova football club secured the top spot in Serie C, and we witnessed the celebrations and festivities throughout the city center, adding to the vibrant feel of the place. A culturally rich and safe place with excellent restaurants, interesting people, and opportunities for a longer stay. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful city with plenty to see for a few days and much longer could have been spent just wandering the historic, cobbled streets and enjoying the plentiful restaurants, cafes and bars. It was off season so quiet - not crowded like Verona. We visited the theatre, of which there are several, and most of the sights, but 2 days wasn't enough time to cover everything. No car needed - walked everywhere. Train station was very central.

Amazing town, small, but with a lot to see and enjoy.
Amazing town, small, but with a lot to see and enjoy. A mixture of Emilia and Lombardy culture, especially about food, but with its own local exclusivity. I wonder why I've never visited earlier in my life!
Great location near train station, attractions and restaurants.
Large, comfortable room, whirlpool bathtub, minibar
Very attentive owner, gives all the tips about Mantova
Wifi works well
Check-in done via cell phone and there is a code to enter the building.
Breakfast a little limited, but has the basics like yogurt and fruit
Attention to the elevator: it only works if the button is continuously pressed.
Our host was very kind, accomodating, and helpful. The room was not far from the train station, and also very close to the historical center of the city. While the room was a little bit smaller than we had expected, it was very neat, tidy, and well equipped, with a good breakfast and a free minibar. I would strongly recommend staying at B&b art boutique if you decide to visit Mantova for a short stay.
A really perfect stay. The hotel itself is a wonderful surprise: not only nice to stay in, but stylish to look at. Breakfast is truly splendid - it is almost brunch-like, which is quite rare in Italy. Additionally, throughout the day, hot tea and coffee are free. The rooms are comfy and generous in size. Lastly, the hotel is a 15/20 minutes walking distance from all major sites.
The host (Adamo) is very friendly. He takes time to give many useful advices on Mantova (which is a very very nice city !) :
Restaurants, parkings, places to visit.
The room (for 4 people with 2 large beds) is very comfortable, clean and modern.
This is really a very very good quality / price ratio.
And Mantova is a great place to visit !
A very good experience in Italy.
This hotel it is a quite small and very well managed, it is divided in two main buldings distan maybe 50 or 60 mts between them, near a big parking lot and near at least 3 places where you can have a good local and traditional food.
Staff very very polite and helpfully
Very close to downtown, indeet walking no mora than 10 mintes you re in the heart of Mantova
Palazzo Arrivabene was a dream place to stay. A beautiful palazzo, with a wonderful interior, and very clean and stylish too. Claudio and his mother are immensely charming and their help and breakfasts were wonderful. There is no better way to discover Mantova, or any other city in the neighbourhood, than by staying in this place.
Beautiful remodeled old building, fully functional, close to Mantova historical center. It was like being lodged in an ancient location, but with all commodities of the present, we really enjoyed it. Chiara gave us all the hints of the place , including parking in the streets around the B&B. We had no difficulties to find a spot.
Fabulous house and an amazing host, both extremely helpful and super kind. The apartment is in a perfect location to explore the immense beauty of Mantova. Beautiful and tastefully decorated place, roomy with wonderful high ceilings and large rooms. Do not hesitate even one second on this one, just go for it.
The place was really the room was clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast was served and a terrace or a balcony. Very quiet and welcoming. Breakfast was traditional Italian and very good. The owner was friendly and helpful. I would definitely today there again when in mantova.
Excellent breakfast and a very kind host. I am sorry that I could not have stayed longer. People who I knew staying at local hotels did not get this level of service. Great location close to the railway station, and five minute's walk from the town centre.
Very nice stay. The location is perfect, easy to reach by car and few minutes' walk from the center. Owners are super nice, the room was very large and comfortable. The owners even reserved a parking spot for us so we could park next to the hotel.
Lots of space (as opposed to the usual 14 to 17 m² claustrophobic hotel room, often enough with no refrigerator)
All you need, to have a meal "at home" (dishes, glasses, knives, forks, korksrew &c.)
Kitchen (Refrigerator, small oven, sink)
The design of the apartment made possible two good sized spaces that were comfortable. Fit out was very good. Outlook to the street was welcome and of course the proximity to the centre of Mantova.
