The 17th century Villa on this estate is a remarkable landmark, recalling yesteryear and its pageantry. We maintains a lush garden area with the intention of inviting our guests to relax among the ancient cypress and sequoia trees The crisp clear waters of the pool are the perfect playground for those hot summer temps and the wrought iron garden furniture are comfortable and tempting Property has its own wellness center "Oro Verde SPA" has been set in the Old Mill Farm; the old millstones have been left exposed to make the most charming and unique Possibility to book EXCLUSIVELY entire spa to spend pleasant and unforgettable moments of relaxation The estate is divided into the owners home (Villa), which is the main building and where we reside, original farmhouse, where accommodations are located (at the first floor) The position lends itself to day trips with a panoramic drive among typical Tuscany vineyards, olive groves, hills and valleys. Especially convenient is the train to Florence Fattoria I Ricci is the definition of complete and a true Tuscan vacation; a splendid mix of Tuscan hospitality, Relax & food with accommodations that are pleasing to the all the five sense
I have lived all of my life at I Ricci, except for a brief period when I went to the University in Florence (I am a pharmacists doctor). My grandfather Renato bought the estate in the 60's , the same estate where he used to work at the olive oil mill which is still present on the property. My husband, Riccardo, and I decided to live here with our daughter Emma surrounded by nature, instilling a sincere appreciate for nature and animals. It is a pleasure for us to meet persons from all over the world. I especially love to greet all of guests personally, helping them with their daily itinerary through the many beautiful places in Mugello. Riccardo, who loves wine and good food, is particularly helpful in directing everyone where to find the best of Tuscany. My mother Gabriella is in charge of the flowers - and the lemons, a true Tuscan tradition - and I warn you not to be surprised if you find her talking to them ... they are like her children! Recently became part of our “team” Rosy, a dachshund enterprising and friendly and I am convinced also steal your heart.
