It was a staging post for us but is a very pleasant area. The West coast is so beautiful and this area is no different. I would say perhaps more family friendly as beach was big and sea easy to swim in

We went for a sea view suite which was a little extra but worth it. The room was fantastic with a bath in the middle of the room and a fabulous view out to sea. A four poster bed and a small living area with a electric fire. Along with this the room had a separate bath and shower room, a separate WC and a small walk in wardrobe. The hotel itself was lovely and the food was great. I would stay here again anytime and would still pay the little extra for such a lovely room.

We really enjoyed our staycation at The Bellbridge Hotel. The staff are so helpful, with all queries that we had. A great starting point to travel around Co.Clare. This is a special corner of the world.

This is a special corner of the world. The scenery is breathtaking, the beach walks are invigorating and the locals are friendly and helpful. There are a few lovely places to eat, I recommend the Coast Hotel, its pizza is delicious! Also the Armada Hotel is fab!! The eateries there are both delicious, and the quality of food served is second to none. We adore Spanish Point and are always delighted to arrive and sad to leave.

Southwind bnb is cozy, welcoming, and comfortable. Evelyn was a wonderful host and added immensely to the pleasantness of the stay. The beds were comfortable, the pillows were fluffy, and the whole house was very clean. We enjoyed breakfast very much. Tea and coffee supplies and water were available in our room. The house is walking distance to the beach, a trail, the Armada Hotel, and a pizza restaurant. It’s driving distance from restaurants in the village and a grocery store.

From the moment we came through the doors we got a real friendly welcome from front house. The room was spacious, luxury, clean and ocean view. The sound of waves as you fell asleep was relaxing and peaceful. Very comfortable bed. We dined at the hotel and the food was every you would expect and more. The breakfast in the morning was delicious. Overall a very good place to go and unwind. 10 out of 10 myself and my wife would rate The Armada.

If you’re staying near Spanish Point, Barkers is worth your consideration. While the property is a charming home, Phil and Noel make the experience. We were only in the area for one night, but Phil ensured we knew of every option for food and fun for our brief stay. You could not hope for better hosts nor a cozier place to stay.

Diane was excellent in providing a warm welcome and was most obliging in regard to use of the facilities as Spanish Point was busy and we ordered a take out and the hostess provided out door dining that evening. Breakfast was really well managed with a pleasant range of juices, fruits, cereal, coffee, breads and an Irish Breakfast.
