The Grand Longere stands on the grounds of the Manoir de la Brunie, an authentic 15th century fortified mansion nestled in 4 ha of land with majestic views of the dordogne valley. Its position is unrivalled being located in the heart of the Black Perigord ,close to the medieval city of Sarlat and all the dordogne has to offer from castles to caves to major leisure activities The Grand Longere (187m2) is a large, renovated villa oozing character with its 2 storey stone fire place and exposed beams. It offers 3 double bedrooms, a large living area with stone open fire place and pool table. In addition there is a large fully equipped kitchen (espresso machine, double door americana fridge/freezer) dining area and mezzanine TV/games area (x-box, UK TV). It is further complimented by a beautiful large outside terrace overlooking the pond and grounds of the Manoir. A large heated swimming pool is offered for use from April 1st to October 1st. The pricing for the Grand Longere is based on 2-6 people sharing. We can also accommodate a further 4 guests in seperate attached accommodation on the property that offers a further two double bedrooms, a bathroom and a combined kitchen/lounge area. This allows large groups (10 guests) in the same party to holiday and share the facilities together whilst also providing some privacy from the main group when required

We are David and Esme, an Australian couple who recently moved to France. We have always had a love for travel and experiencing new cultures, and what better way to do that than by living in a foreign country and offering a place for travellers to stay. We have been enjoying every moment of our new life in France, from the delicious food and wine, to the beautiful architecture and art.
