Luxury holiday villas for 4-6 persons with swimming pool! The villas are both approximately 100 m2 and located at the foot of the Psiloritis ( Ida Mountains). They are spacious and lovingly furnished and equipped with luxury. In both houses you find a living room, a kitchen, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Outdoor there is a covered terrace and on the first floor a roofterrace with mountain view. Also available a stone BBQ, a swimmingpool for both houses (open from June 1st till October 1st) and a sportsfield, which let you play football and basketball. And down to the river we have a small but very old white Chapel on our property! In the Rethymnon-area and an ideal holiday place for nature lovers, bon vivants and families with children. Beautifully situated in the old Milopotamos Valley in Crete (part of the Unesco Psiloritis Geopark), near the traditional old village of Axos. You can rent each house individually or both villas together for a wonderful holiday with friends or family. Free WIFI is available. The Villas are surrounded by hawks, owls, swallows and bets. And by sheep and goats of course. And a lot of grapes and olives.

In the immediate surroundings are beautiful hiking trails, ancient churches, monasteries (Diskouri, Vossakos, Arkadi) and olive groves. And it is also worth to go to the Ida-mountains (about 25 minutes) near Livadia or to the Nida Plateau near Anogia (30 minutes). Away from the crowded tourismplaces one can enjoy this very old area of calm nature and enjoy soaking in the authentic Greek island life. For groceries, there are a few villages with supermarket, butcher, baker and hairdresser. On the half hour drive is the town of Perama with banks, dentist, a medical center and larger supermarkets and shops. In 10 minutes more you are at the coast. Lovely and not so crowded resorts are Panormo and Bali. Rethymnon (a 45 minutes drive by car) is an ancient Minoan and later Venetian city, full of shops, really good restaurants, nightlife and beautiful, rustic streets. Worth to visit! Axos is a beautiful, traditional Cretan village with a nice square where delicious spring water can be drunk. It is built against a hill and has considerable charm. There are seven Byzantine churches, more than 1000 years old. The people are very hospital. Axos is a 20 minutes walk.
