The staff were incredibly helpful - we got a different room upon request on arrival. The buffet breakfast was excellent. The staff were very kind and polite, particularly with our baby. The room was an excellent size. The pool was clean and great. The hotel is well located for a short walk (20 mins) into the centre of the city.

Location was good, and the water pressure was amazing. Also, make sure you drink the water from the tap. It tastes absolutely incredible, honestly that alone was the best part for me. The room had three twin beds in it, just a weird arrangement. The view was of a construction site across the street, and revelers at the tapas bar on the street were noisy until 2am every night - maybe request an indoors-facing room. The beds were two twins pushed together, which would move around, not ideal if traveling as a couple. Third bed had ripped fabric on mattress, sheets adequate. Interior of the hotel is beautiful.

First and most important, the people. Concierge Grigor was most welcoming and helpful with local sights, food, and specifics on local transportation. Concierge Antonio checked us out with smiles and easy luggage storage so we could make the best of our last few hours in Granada.
And the attached but independent café had many choices of delicious breakfast and lunch - from breakfast bowls with fruit to toasts with avocado, ham, and tomato. Great friendly service and café cortado too.
The room we were in had a fantastic view of an Alcazaba tower and walls and buildings of the Alhambra above the Darro River. It was well-designed for spaciousness, quiet, and harmonious furnishings.

Granada was best out of three - Cordoba next and then Seville. This is based on architecture and history. City Seville is good but if I want to go to one only , it will be Granada. Alcazar, Gardens and palaces great treasures but book early as sometimes no places as we heard from others. Take a guide. We enjoyed our stay at:
El Ladrón De Agua Palacete
Great hotel, location and staff. We got free upgrade, welcome fruit basket ( no charge) and late checkout without extycharge. Very flexible. Place is spotless, with top of features and furnishings.
Highly recommended. Pricy though but worth paying!

Al Hambra is a must.
Al Hambra is a must. Also, a walk suggested by Granada Tourism, starting at Mirador San Nicolas, walking thru the Albaicin, Placeta de San Miguel and the flea markets, ending in Bib-Rambla Plaza behind the cathedral. We walked up to the starting point from Gran Via but it was a very steep climb. You can catch bus C32 from near Gran Via up to the starting point.

Granada is beautiful. The Alhambra is a must!
Granada is beautiful. The Alhambra is a must! The Sacromonte cave museum was an interesting find and Albaicín is lovely.
Prices of food, taxis and experiences were reasonable. Food was great for vegetarians, Muslims and coeliacs. Most places open late (including Burger King and McDonald open at 10-11am)but there are a few cafes open at 08:00. Everyone was friendly and kind.
It is a bit difficult to get to from the UK so we caught a coach from Malaga. The queues for passport control are long due to Brexit so if you do this, leave more than an hour after arrival to get to the bus stop on-site of the airport. I left 1 hour and missed our coach by 8 minutes but the kind driver allowed us to get on the next coach without an additional charge.
Granada is very hilly so not buggy/wheelchair friendly. A great holiday for adults but I’m not sure kids would appreciate it.
Easy to get around on buses/trams or taxis.

A wonderful city with impressive monuments to visit, but like all popular cities too crowded and full of camera toting tourists. Hard to walk down some of the streets for the crowds and the Alhambra was chock-a-block with thousands of visitors and groups. Great variety of tapas bars, and lots of shops. Don't trust your SatNav as it is full of one-way streets!

The Alhambra is a must , a very big site and a fair climb from the city but buses run up to it . The Cathedral was lovely inside . Do go the Mirador View Point , buses run from the centre and also one runs direct from the Alhambra , it gives a lovely view of the Alhambra and the mountains .
The city centre is quite pleasant with plenty of bars and restaurants , the city bus service is very good with the possibility of buying a multi-journey ticket that can be used by more than one person , just tap twice for two people etc. Excellent value for money and re-loadable .
what an amazing, unique boutique hotel right in the heart of Granada. we had a room with a private terrace and had amazing views of the sierra nevadas. the room was spotless and was stunningly decorated, with full kitchen facilities. the breakfast spread was abundant, with ala carte options each day in addition to the provided buffet. staff went above and beyond to ‘rush’ us a cooked meal on our first morning when we had to get to the Alhambra for our booked tickets by 9am. truly a superb hotel in Granada… we hope to return!!
So many things: it’s super comfortable (we were 5), location very centric and I mean convenient for tourism, cristal neat, but above all: the HOST Manolo was the most hospitable one during all our trip in Spain incl Barcelona, Granada, Sevilla, Valencia and Malaga, and these all were great, but Manolo is both a PREFESSIONAL who knows how to run the business combined with a CALID personality who understands that for us, Tourists, a helping hand with a great attitude is super appreciated, especially when travelling with kids.
Gorgeous little boutique hotel, the entrance hall is stunning. Check in easy, no keys all electronic on codes. Beautiful room, with a four poster canopy bed with en-suite. I was worried when I found that my room was next to a bar, but I needn't have, there was little or no noise. Heating provided by ac on hot. Shutters on the windows to keep out the light. Nice TV in the room. Superb location for Granada, for shopping, restaurants and bars and walking distance to Alhambra.
Awesome hotel that is gorgeous. Love the furnishings and the historic building. The beds are super comfy, the toiletries nice and plentiful. Nice patio area. I sound like a commercial, but the hotel is exceptional. We have been staying in Paradores prior to arriving in Granada, I must say the Palacete is a little nicer in the fact the rooms are more appealing with a more distinctive individual flair.
Our room is very quiet too which in Spain is an added bonus.
Staff were really great. Location is just fantastic but because of construction, the property was very hard to find and would recommend that you rent the smallest car you can tolerate if you’re driving yourself. The garage was a bit of a walk and very narrow driving areas in the garage. That is typical for a lot of the hotels in older parts of Spain. The room was fine but they need to put some kind of slip proof pad in the shower so you don’t fall.
The location was excellent. The staff were lovely and ready to help with anything you may need. The breakfast was the best I have had in a hotel so relaxed in fact the whole hotel had a calm relaxing atmosphere. Super size comfy bed and room was quiet with good temperature control. I loved the little treats in the bedroom each day. There is so much to like at this lovely upmarket boutique hotel.
Hotel Casa 1800 is a wonderful place to stay for your trip to Granada. It is very centrally located making it easily walkable to all of the major sites in Granada including the Alhambra, the Cathedral and the Albazyin neighborhood. The rooms are comfortable, quiet, and kept very clean. The staff is friendly and very helpful with whatever you need in the way of taxis, directions, or recommendations.
Lovely small hotel with a perfect view of The Alhambra from the terrace where the charming owners offer drinks and small plates. Excellent breakfast and the chance to meet other interesting guests also visiting Granada. The best feature is the hosts, who go out of their way to make sure you have a comfortable stay. The beds are great, excellent shower and modern AC, all for a very reasonable price.
Very nice place in the center of Granada. The room itself was rather small, but it had everything I needed. The quality/price ratio was very satisfactory. Lots of restaurants, bars and various stores nearby. The hotel itself is not very close to Alhambra, but thanks to the location, you can see a little bit more modern face of the city. A relatively good wi-fi, which is not always the norm in Spain.
EVERYTHING! the location is perfect. The apartment is beautiful and relaxing, very quite but most of all it is super clean with anything you may need, even a washing machine that was a bless after 10 days in Spain moving from town to town. The check in was super easy and they text me everyday to make sure we don’t need anything. That apartment deserve more than 5 stars.
Fantastic location to this boutique hotel, easy walking distance to all the restaurants, bars and sights in Granada. A very good room size with small balcony to look out from. Exceptional look to the hotel itself, traditional Moorish build. Considering it is reasonably near a busy tourist area the sound proofing is amazing, didnt hear a thing!
I visit Granada almost 3 times/ year. Seriously! Bravo & biiig thanks to limehome. One of the best experiences that I have not only in Granada but all over Spain. Very professional way of welcoming guests. Very clean. Amazing location. Nice rooms. Etc
I'll be loyal to them whenever I visit. Highly recommended.
I liked the apartment (Gran Via, 11 apartment 402). It was clean and modern and had a well equipped kitchen. It had the best shower of the 6 hotels or apartments that we stayed in during our trip to Spain. It was the only enclosed (USA style) shower we experienced so we could take a "better" shower.
Lovely traditional hotel in the heart of Granada with close-by views over the Alhambra. Excellent cooked breakfasts and a comfortable room. Many thanks to Ingo for aiding us in finding excellent restaurants and in visiting the best sites of the city. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
Staff, location, breakfast, secure, reasonable price. I felt so comfortable and satisfied. The sower was excellent.
I wish there would be this kind of low cost and high quality hotel here and there in the world. I could make a best choice to stay in Granada. thank you so much.
Cute boutique hotel in historic part of Granada , right under the Alhambra. Staff were great, room was spacious, mattress really comfy and it was quiet - got a great nights sleep, best nights sleep of my whole spain trip! Free bottle of wine was a nice touch
This is an outstanding hotel so close to everything you want to see in Granada! The room, the spa, the alfresco - all wonderful. Most of all the staff are amazing! A special mention to Balini in the spa who gave me the best massage EVER!
Location was great for what we wanted to do. The room was spacious and clean with good wifi. The bathtub was a bonus! Staff was very helpful and polite. The price was competitive with other hotels that we at stayed at in Spain.
