The room is clean and big. There is no parking lot, we had to walk like 5 minutes to a public parking lot near by but it’s fine. view is amazing, especially the breakfast with view. Staff is helpful and friendly

Location is great as it's very close to the beach (we stayed on a saturday night so street parking was free). The hosts are very nice and the room is as described. Communication was great and we'd recommend it to other travelers.
P.S there is no elevator and the staircase is kinda narrow, it wasn't too much of a problem for us but FYI to those that are concerned).

Catania is only 15-20 minutes drive by car, depending on the traffic. Acitrezza was peacefull and we found the locals very kind, friendly and open hearted people. We dined well at Tratoria da Federico where we had delicious oysters fresh from local waters. Unfortunatelly there is no posibility to walk alongside the sea more than a few hundred meters.

The location is great for traveling north and south of the town. The view from the terrace is lovely! We arrived at night and it was a special surprise in the morning. The kitchen is very tiny and we were unable to reheat leftovers due to the lack of a microwave and our inability to use the oven. We were very thankful for the washing machine and clothes dried quickly on the rack on the terrace.

Great little place, with some good restaurants and excellent beaches for snorkelling and swimming with warm clear seas. The locals are really friendly and its not insanely busy or too quiet (In Aug).

Acitrezza is a very beautiful village and is special due to the famous rocks called Faraglioni. Is a perfect location for visiting the eastern part of Sicily, There are nice restaurants, with good fish, pasta and pizza and of course very good ice-cream. You can have a nice walk on the promenade near the see and walk to Acicastello to see the Norman Castle. There are lots of places to take a bath from the rocks but also some platforms built over the see, with sunbeds and stairs to get into the water. From the harbor you can have boat trips.

This was our 6th visit but the first not in summer. We were surprised by how quiet it was but the weather was glorious, the people very welcoming and it was a lovely relaxing break for us. Not a place for those who need a lot of attractions, unless you have a car and want to drive to different places every day.

Good starting point for exploring Etna and Taormina. Otherwise other parts of Sicily are better, at least for families. Lots of garbage in the roadside which sometimes spoils a good scenery, but probably the same all over Sicily.

We choose this hotel as our base, to climb Etna, to visit Taormina and the Godfather's villages, to visit Sirakuza and Catania city. And to swim in the sea. The hotel was perfectly located for all this. The rooms are simple,bathroom and shower big, view is amazing. Staff are always ready to help. Breakfast was good, especially homemeade jams of pistacchio and lemon. Sometimes you are lucky when chanching upon a hotel run as in the old times, with care and respect and attention after the small things.AndelAlbania

They hade some fresh fruit and typical Sicilian biscuits ready as a welcoming present, they recommended me the best places to eat (with the best traditional plates), know their way around Aci Trezza - the local shops and bars and beaches, invited me to join them on a boat tour to see the Isole dei Ciclopi and the nearby castello and even organised a trip back to Catania airport. I can highly recomend staying with them! True Sicilian hospitality!
