Located in the center of Alba, 200 meters from the train station, Casanova offers free air-con, free Wi-Fi and elegantly furnished accommodation with kitchen and terrace, with free parking. The Casanova apartments have parquet floors and include 1 or 2 separate bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, a seating and dining area, and a private bathroom with hairdryer and free toiletries. The house is quite unique in its kind. It is located in the historic center but free on four sides, a beautiful and large internal courtyard. It's a 70s house completely and finely restored. The convenience, a stone's throw from the main street, shops, bars and restaurants of the city, give the structure a remarkable personality. The building is absolutely silent, even more so the bedrooms facing the private internal courtyard. The interiors have been furnished with pleasant taste, taking care of details, colors and combinations of fabrics. Families like the structure as it is equipped with everything needed for the needs of younger and older children.
Alba, a medieval city with characteristic tower-houses, is the economic and cultural capital of the Langhe, 35 km from Asti and 1 hour from Turin. What to visit: The majestic Duomo near the Palazzo Comunale, the ancient Via Maestra with both medieval and Renaissance buildings and decorations. Worth visiting is certainly the Archaeological Museum and the many churches of the city. Leaving Alba you immerse yourself in the beauty of the Langhe: an ocean of vineyards famous all over the world and in this ocean dozens of wineries where you can taste excellent wines - Barolo, Barbaresco, Nebbiolo. Not to forget the excellent restaurants. My favorite place is the beautiful village of Serralunga.
