We absolutely loved our stay here! Everything was perfect. Our room was so comfortable with stunning views of the mountains and vineyard. I would go back tomorrow if I could. The wine tasting was lovely and breakfast was delicious. Valentina is a real gem and was so helpful to us when we had some transportation issues. She was also very kind to our 5 year old throughout our stay and gave her a coloring activity during the wine tasting.

Loved Popoli. The town is a true hidden gem of "real small town true Italy feel". The location of Popoli is great. You are close to beautiful mountains, beautiful lakes, and beaches. You can visit many small towns in Abruzzo as well.

We went to the Conad grocery store for snacks and wine.
We went to the Conad grocery store for snacks and wine. Google the directions. Restaurants in Popoli close from 1 or 2pm until 7:30 or 8pm. If you like an early supper, you will have trouble. They do have ready made sandwiches and pizza at the Conad to hold you over. N to a big town but big enough. Restaurants that Paula suggested were very good. Reservations are often needed.

We were concerned we may be staying too long in the small city - by the time we left we were wishing our stay hadn't been so short! This town was home to my great-grandparents and my wife and I planned to spend 3 days there. We enjoyed exploring the city itself including the castle above, as well as the nearby National Parks, especially Gran Sasso. While restaurant options are limited all of the food we tried was both excellent and affordable. We wish we could have stayed longer and will be back!
Wonderful stay in an isolated location with a privileged view of the mountains! The hotel was cosy and faithful to the local architecture. Our room was small but cosy, with a lovely shower and nice quality products included. We appreciated the local candy in the room as a welcome as well as the water. The breakfast was fantastic, with numerous home baked cakes. They even made a vegan one for us which we highly appreciated. we will definitely come back. The owner Paola and the niece working there were very hospitale, informative and friendly
Room located in the low floor of the house of the family who owns it, which are very kind and friendly. The house is next to the hot springs of Popoli, with lovely views (where you have breakfast) to the castle and town.
The room is quite spacious and the restroom too, clean and nice. Outside you can meet a dog and cats that are super cute and friendly! You can park the car in front of the house.
The breakfast was abundant and very good.
“We had an exceptional stay at this hotel. Our host was very helpful, the view is incredible and the village is quiet and peaceful. In the morning, you can have breakfast outside with a panoramic view! The host even catered according to food allergies. Cannot recommend the hotel enough”
The hosts were amazing, very polite and friendly. The breakfast every morning was exeptional and consistant with time. The view from the room and the terrace is great, you can see the whole village of Popoli and the amazing landscape that surrounds it!
Great location great value centrally located hotel. Very clean and friendly concierge. Nice quiet calm location right on the central piazza. And biggest breakfast in the world!!!
This hotel is perfectly situated in central Popoli.
The breakfast is simply amazing with masses of sweet and savoury options, and the staff are very friendly and helpful.
Great hotel and restaurant on the banks of the river just outside town. Room was large and clean. Parking for out motorcycles right in front of the hotel.
