A very unique place to stay, a real Italian villa atleast a century old, with a beautiful garden. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable bed and pillows. Lovely views of the sea and the mountains at from the shared porch. The breakfast was delicious, had savory options. Very friendly and sweet host. You need a car to access this location, it is off the main road up the hill, it was very private and serene and we loved it! Wifi worked well. Great value for the area! We used it as a stop between tropea and zambrone.

This amazing property is the proverbial hidden gem:) No words can describe its delicate and unique beauty. It's like an art object in itself. It's one of those places where I can honestly say "It exceeded my expectations" The villa is located in a tiny village on top of a mountain and is enveloped in stone walls. It has its own garden, lawns, parking and private areas to sit outside and enjoy its relaxing atmosphere. Our room was located on the main floor, it was spacious with high ceiling, huge bathroom and a balcony facing the inner court yard. It felt very relaxing and private. The bed was comfortable. The shower area is a bit on a small side but this did not bother us at all. The breakfast was served in an old olive oil cellar and was delicious with great variety of food. The owners are an absolutely wonderful couple who made our stay unforgettable!! Thank you so so much for everything!

Exceptional property! Perfect location to just relax in style and minutes away from Tropea. Our host went out of his way to ensure a perfect stay. We arrived just before 15:00 and our room wasn't quite ready. He welcomed us into the dining room and offered us a drink and snacks on the house. Breakfast was exceptional as well, with a wide variety of excellent quality options.

Me and my partner booked a two night stay at Villa Florio as we had a boat trip planned from Tropea, it’s only a ten minute drive from the center of Tropea. A beautiful villa with old brick walls and beautiful country garden with fig trees and grape vines. I am celiac and struggle to find places to eat, Gianni had already found a list of many restaurants for us to visit and prepared a breakfast and lunch for us to take with us on our boat trip. There was a huge range of gluten free options, the breakfast for both of us was incredible with plenty to choose from. Would recommend again and again!

Die Villa und ihre Anlage sind wunderschön und liebevoll erhalten, das Besitzerpaar, Giovanni und Lucia äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die großen und geschmackvoll eingerichteten Zimmer laden zum Verweilen ein. Pluspunkt: perfekte Sauberkeit. Das Frühstück war exzellent. Sowohl italienische als auch "kontinentale" Frühstücksauswahl, darunter leckeres selbst hergestelltes salziges und süßes Gebäck. Wer einen Aufenthalt in einer historischen italienischen Villa sucht, kann es nicht besser treffen. Die Lage ist abseits des Touristentrubels aber trotzdem nah an den Orten und Stränden der berühmten "Costa degli Dei".
