Out hostess was wonderful. She allowed us to check in early as we had a very long flight to arrive in Chile and wanted to nap. She provided us with a lot of information on the area and great suggestions for dining. The posada is quiet and beautiful with easy access to the vineyards. Breakfasts were delicious and the staff took great care of us.

Santa Cruz is a really good base for exploring thr wine area. An interesting small town to walk around. Good restaurants and bars. There is a very good museum in town with lots of artifacts from all around Chile. Very well displayed and lots of information, we used google translate and visited twice during our stay as there was so much to see. Easy to travel to the many vineyards, we used uber to go to the restaurant at the Montes vineyard Fuegos de Alpata , the meal was fabulous. La Casita de Barrealas has an excellent menu and well worth visiting in walking distance of the town centre.

It's a great little town a little off the beaten path, but on a big enough path to appreciate what it has to offer.
The wine route that goes up the valley is fantastic, offering plenty of opportunities. The city square has good shops, a hotel, restaurants and conveniences all within easy walking distance. And the city maintains the sidewalks, street and park nicely.

Santa Cruz is in one of the main wine producing areas of Chile, with beautiful vineyards and scenery. It also has two excellent museums, the Museo Colchagua and the former hacienda at El Huique. Neither are to be missed!
Very clean, felt homey, the bedrooms were huge with comfortable duvets and TV's with Netflix and Google Chromecast. The self-service breakfast is HUGE and you can take it between 5-11am. The outside chill area is beautiful with BBQ facilities and a super friendly dog (Luna:). The staff are helpful and the kitchen was full-equipped and always clean. The property is 5 minute walk from the main square and super markets and very quiet to sleep at night. Highly recommend! Also, one of the cheapest places to stay in Santa Cruz
We loved our stay at Hotel Colchagua D'Vino. Mauricio and Pilar were amazing, friendly, and considerate hosts. We had a very comfortable room with an incredible view of the Apalta Valley. Mauricio gave us lots of ideas and guidance to plan excursions during our stay. We also enjoyed a wonderful breakfast and personalized dinner, complete with Chilean wine pairings, each day.
There was lots to do in the area. We particularly enjoyed borrowing bicycles to do a day of wine touring and tasting in the valley.
Amazing hotel! Cozy, elegant, great design, amazing and helpful staff. Breakfast was great and served at your room. The beds were very comfortable, rooms really nicely decorated and intimate. The pool merges with a beautiful garden that makes you feel in a oasis. The staff even gave us a complementary glass of Rose in the pool. I definitely recomend this hotel and will go back in my future visits to Santa Cruz.
We loved the beautiful old house, the tasteful furniture and decorations, the courtyard and the very friendly people. One of the best breakfasts you'll find in Chile! We had a room on the street and it was quite and peaceful. The property is only a few blocks from the square and there's a lot to do within walking distance. Found our place to stay in Santa Cruz!
Superb boutique hotel/mini resort. Besides the obviously unique barrel-shaped rooms (that are also extremely comfortable), they have a nice pool, a lake, a garden for meals/wine and a great restaurant with excellent choice. They’ll do a very kate check out for a reasonable fee so it’s ideal if you are catching a late flight or driving to Santiago.
Beautiful place nestled in a quiet neighborhood, perfect place to relax and unwind after visiting the nearby wineries and city of Santa Cruz. Mateo and Francisca take amazing care of you and provide you with recommendations for activities and wineries to visit. Highly recommend and can’t want to visit again soon.
Hotel TerraVina is located on a private vineyard; beautiful, calm and spacious. Comfortable, clean rooms. The staff was the best, very engaging and helpful. I had a travel issue, not hotel related, and they actively assisted to allow me to relax and enjoy my stay. they even checked up on me after I left!
Friendly host, she helped us with renting a bike. They also have a laundry service.
Comfortable bed, shower with hot water. Decent breakfast.
Good location within Santa Cruz, you can walk to vineyard Laura Hartwig and some restaurants. The other vineyards can be reached by bike.
It was a beautiful place, great staff, nice pool, very tranquil. It was a bit remote from Santa Cruz but Filipe and Leomar were extremely accommodating. They gave us excellent recommendations for restaurants and wineries to visit.
We truly loved our stay!!!!
Fantastic place in the heart of Colchagua Valley, with really calm atmosphere, fresh air, comfy room, helpful staff, extraordinary restaurant besides, two very lovely dogs and easy access to the city of Santa Cruz and nearby vineyards.
The owner of the hostel was lovely and very responsive to messages and questions. The room was comfortable and a good price for a private room and bathroom. A handy location to explore Santa Cruz and as a base to visit the vineyards.
Nice hotel to stay in wine country, right Infront of the many plaza. Rooms are very nice, clean and good location. The museum from the same owner of the hotel is a must. Don't forget to taste the Montes Winery!
Great traditional hotel to stay at, specially if visiting the winery like Montes, Casa los Apostoles, etc. The museum is also a must (from the same owner of the hotel), I think it should belong in Santiago.
The hotel grounds are very comfortable and promote a relaxing stay. The staff were excellent. My only regret is that I was rushing to check out and forgot to tip them all.
