Beatriz really gave a 5-star feel to the place. Magnificent views around the house and lots of privacy. With wonderful embroidery of the initials of the house (MCB), you felt like you were in a 5-star lodge or hotel. The kitchen was very complete as were the bathrooms. The atmosphere of the whole place was wonderful - great decorations. The casa lies in a nice and private surrounding, great for runs and walks. It is just a short drive to the lovely town of Santiago do Cacem. There you can find everything you need in terms of history, nice walks, some restaurants and supermarkets. More of that in Sines. Lovely beaches in Sines and Porto Covo where there is also good surfing going on. A day in Lisbon was also really worthwhile and feasible with a rental car.

Monte da Casa Branca by Hi Alentejo is located in the Alentejo coast, between the village of São Bartolomeu da Serra and the beaches of Costa Vicentina. It has a private pool, a vineyard and fruit trees. The house was recently rebuilt, maintaining the original design and respecting the surrounding Alentejo countryside. The unit was once the site of many popular balls and festivals for the people of the region. The 3-bedroom home includes 3 bathrooms and a large living room with a traditional fireplace. The equipped kitchen has a ceramic hob, traditional wood stove, washing machine and a dishwasher. There is also a cellar. Guests of the Casa Branca are welcome to cook their own meals in the kitchen or the barbecue facilities. Meal service is available at an extra fee. Several traditional Portuguese-style restaurants are available in the Santiago do Cacém center, 6.2 mi away. Sines and some of Costa Vicentina’s best beaches are within a 30-minute drive from the house. Vila Nova de Milfontes is a 50-minute drive away. São Bartolomeu da Serra Train Station is 0.8 mi from the Monte da Casa Branca by Hi Alentejo.
