The receptionists are super friendly, they always provide me with detailed information. Our family stayed in the one-bedroom apartment on the ground floor with a nice view to the pool. The apartment looks older than in the pictures, but everything is working as expected, so it didn’t concern us at all. Our 8-year old kid loves the pool and the cats very much and surely we will come back again. Thanks for hosting us.

Fantastic, genuine, and generous staff. The room was stylish and very clean. Loved the multiple windows overlooking rooftops on our 4th floor room with a tub. The AC worked well. The unlimited glass water bottles, coffee, and fruit were highly appreciated. Thank you for letting us stay in the lobby after check out while we awaited our flight! The location is fantastic. Try to overlap your trip on a Sunday so that you can take advantage of the sprawling night market ~100 metres from the hotel. The umbrella and bicycle free rentals are great too. Lastly, the pool and few chairs are stylish and adequate for the number of guests. Thank you :)

Everything was perfect, close to everywhere, with super nice, helpful, and friendly staff, and a complete breakfast. This was my favorite place during my whole stay in Thailand. The room where we stayed was kind of big with a lovely Asian Japanese style, in my opinion. There was nothing to complain about regarding cleanliness, and they replaced our bottles of water and towels if needed, with amazing daily service. In the lobby, they helped me book activities during our stay, and the recommendations for tours were accurate and amazing. This place exceeded my expectations for sure.

Surrounded by Thailand’s highest mountains, Chiang Mai is the beloved, idyllic and somewhat mystical capital of the North. With more than 300 temples, it's considered one of the most important cultural centers in the country.
Despite being Thailand's fifth-largest city, Chiang Mai still has a relaxed and laid-back feel. Modernity, trendy shops and boutique hotels haven’t altered much of its picturesque and peaceful atmosphere.
This reputation is partly due to its proximity to lush green areas, mountains like Doi Suthep, and its panoramic Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep temple. The Doi Inthanon National Park is 37 miles away with Thailand’s highest mountain.
Hotels in Chiang Mai’s old city center are a popular choice, with picturesque scenery featuring its moat and older temples. Chiang Mai hotels can also be found around the Chang Klhan Rd, where the famous Night Bazaar takes place.
The city’s nightlife runs along the Loi Kroh Rd, while Ratchadamneon Road hosts the main Sunday night pedestrian market. Don’t forget to buy an umbrella from Bo Sang and eat a bowl of kao soi.
Whether you arrive at Chiang Mai International Airport or come by land from Bangkok, don’t miss "The Rose of the North" deals on Booking.com!

I had a friend who was able to give me a head start in getting around the town and district. Also on one day I hired a driver for about 3 hours to drive me around to the sights he thought were worth visiting. That was very cheap, 1000THB and good value. Just make sure their English is good enough for what you want, otherwise it would be a pain.
The town is really clean. No rubbish to speak of anywhere. Most of the action is from about 10.00 am through to midnight when it is the cooler hours of the day. The fresh food markets are very interesting to get an idea of how the Thai people transact business.
An interesting place to visit is the Museum of Makers. Doesn't get much of a write-up but worth it. It is an arts and crafts location with very good quality items - clothes, jewellery, furniture, coffee. The building is great architecture, modern Thai.

I loved it in Chiang Mai.
I loved it in Chiang Mai. The temples are beautiful, the Chiang Mai night bazaar was lovely (probably one of my favorite night markets, as they had shopping, food, and Muay Thai fights), and many day trips available. The nicest elephant sanctuaries seem to be located here as well. I went to Chai Lai Orchid for a day at the elephant sanctuary and had the greatest time of my life. The only downside about Chiang Mai was I went in April which happens to be burning season. Air quality wasn't great. It was considered "Unhealthy" throughout my stay but that didn't stop me from being outside and doing activities. Just be careful.

Chiang Mai is mostly flat; the old town being defined by a rectangular
"moat" . There are many interesting temple sites and places where markets are held, some of which are quite special. The people are delightful and are used to their town being inundated with foreigners.
There is plenty of nightlife when the temperature is easier than the daytime heat.
There is a huge range of eateries. The street food I found much preferable to some of the food "courts" especially set up for visitors.
Shopping is endless. The clinics are also.

City is good, people is also friendly. All is centered to make visitors spend money. avoid trips to shops nearby (ride will be offered by tuc tuc drivers) it is just a scam, nothing is like try to show.....
In general there is nothing really interesting to do overthere, national park visit is also nothing, not interesting.

It is a wonderful part of Thailand and great place to enjoy.
It is a wonderful part of Thailand and great place to enjoy. Just remember that to get around this city the red Ute buses are not like the blue Ute buses of Pattaya. Price for use seems to differ with the driver and they tell you when to get off. So it is safer to use Uber.
THIS IS UNDERRATED!!!!! I always stay in 5 star hotels. I booked this because my friend recommended this hotel that has Lanna touch.
The room was comfortable and beautiful.
this has one of the best locations in Chiangmai town. Walkable to main spots in Nimman.
The pool was nice and clean.
Terrace by the pool was amazing!
it’s so charming and relaxing!
We got more than what we paid for.
Love it there.
definitely staying again when I’m back to Chiangmai
The hotel is very well located, in the heart of the Old city.
A lot of the sights are at a walking distance.
There are shops, exchange and good restaurants nearby.
The lobby is very cosy and nice, with a lovely relaxing atmosphere.
The room, along with the attached bathroom, is very clean and tidy with all the facilities needed.
The staff of the hotel were very helpful with planning a good exploring trip of Chiang Mai.
It is a gem in the heart of the Old city.
The hotel was really new, modern, well located and had water and fresh fruits for free everyday, which is really nice in a hot city like Chiang Mai. Also loved the breakfast, well served from early morning until 10am. The location is great too, walking distance to main streets and Old City but in a quiet and peacefull street. Have to say that it was really worth it, specially considering the costs involved in the stay.
Wow - what a great find in Chiang Mai - this hotel is AMAZING! I have stayed all over Chiang Mai and this is hands down the best so far! Large smart television with Netflix, corner hot tub in bathroom, comfortable bed and linens, super friendly staff, great location next to old town wall, spacious rooms with large balcony! Everything about this place is classy and deserves 5 star rating!
New hotel.
Fantastic staff, willing to help at every point.
Free laundry services everyday, as well as free coffee, snacks, water and all other facilities.
Great quiet location, close to the Old City.
Fantastic value for money.
Probably one of the best hotels in Chiang Mai, especially for expats. Will stay again for sure.
My room was very clean and bright lanna stule decor. There is a lovely, well-kept garden, which I enjoyed a lot. The location is very good, because the old town is very close and in the evening you have a small, but delicious food market just a few minutes by foot from the hotel away. 5 stars! Thanks for everything!!
Beautiful hotel and room with access to an enclosed outdoor space. Spacious room well appointed furnished in a traditional style. Beautiful dining area and library for relaxation. Close to restaurants and markets in the old city - very convenient location
Staff were very friendly and helpful. A Delightful stay.
The location is perfect. You are in the center of the old town. This hotel is perfect for people who want to see a lot of Chang Mai and the old city. The rooms and equipment are nice and the staff is helpful. This hotel is for people who want to explore and need an affordable place to stay in the old city!
Beautiful and authentic property located in the heart of Chiang Mai’s old city! The food was delicious and it was so easy to walk around and explore from the hotel. The staff had great recommendations for night markets, bars, restaurants, activities and more.
Excellent service staff
Beautiful, clean and comfortable room
Everything about hotel feels 5 star
I moved here from another similarly priced place closer to town - quality here was 10x better, 100% worth being slightly further from the old city
The room was incredibly nice for the value. The location was perfect– it was so close to a busy street food market and the old city. The family that ran the hotel helped us organize cooking classes and other tours.
Quiet and cozy, not a hotel, feel like home, away from the crowd of Chiang Mai old City. With Grab taxi, it's 80 ThB & 5 min drive to the old city.
A variety of eating places around.
Great host.
Excellent value
Location is very central in old city. Thapae gate is 5 mins walk.
Hotel and rooms are very clean and well maintained. Beds are comfortable.
Staff is very polite and helpful.
Overall great value for money.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very cute, and very centrally located in the old city of Chiang Mai. Next door to the largest temple in the city. The hotel was also very clean.
The hotel is very near to the airport and within the old city of Chiangmai. Nice hotel with cute cafe and open lounge. Room is big but feel a bit oversize since there are not occupied by furnitures.
Clean, quiet and comfortable hotel.
Good location, inside the old city so it is near the center of Chiang Mai.
Room is wide enough.
Not expensive - I think it is a very good value for money.
This is the best place to stay in Chiang Mai. What a place. Beautiful garden/bush, super friendly staff, excellent breakfast, super clean. They went the extra mile(s).
Great location - a few minutes from Old city and 10 minutes from night bazaar. Everything in the hotel was new, very clean and it had everything you need.
