The staff were always willing to help and go above and beyond. Very nice people and they are the reason we would visit again. We did have a lovely view of the park and garden across the street. The bed was comfortable. The food and music at the bar were wonderful.

We stayed in the suite. The bedroom was roomy. We also loved having a kitchenette. The host had stocked the refrigerator with a few items and also brought us warm croissants in the morning!

Our stay at Foxhollow House was wonderful. Vicky was a great host and the location was perfect for us. The neighborhood is adorable, safe, and quiet. It's about a 15 minute walk or 5 minute drive to dining options. Blarney Castle & Gardens are super close making it an excellent place to stay if you're planning to visit those sites. Breakfast included cold cereals, yogurt, cheeses, fruit, coffee, etc.

Kind to leave some things for breakfast that was unexpected, yogurt, cereal, milk, juice, toast & bananas.

Blarney made a great post for us to adventure around the south of Ireland. We spent 5 days here bouncing from Cork to the coast and in between. It is small and quiet but charming. There is plenty to visit in the town so we did spend a whole day here as well visiting the castle and local shops.

Blarney is a wonderful little town.
Blarney is a wonderful little town. We enjoyed eating at Muskerry Arms Bar and Christy's Bar while we were there. Everything was walkable and felt very safe. We also bought a few items from Blarney Woolen Mills. This store offered the most Irish wool clothing of anywhere we saw throughout our tour of the country.
We also visited Blarney Castle and grounds. The gardens around Blarney Castle are incredible. There is so much more to see here than we expected. Our trip was in March, so we needed to wear a light winter jacket, but that also meant there were no lines for kissing the stone and touring the castle.

The hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly. However, facilities were poor with no on-site restaurant after 4pm, reception area small, food only available in the pub next door. Fine for a business trip but not for a holiday, very basic.

It is a fab hotel but there is something going on with the lift. Every time we got into the lift there was a really bad smell. It smelt like sewage . When we were leaving that morning it was really bad. Other than that l had no complaints . Very happy.

The hotel was lovely.
The hotel was lovely. I was there during a very warm spell so opened the window for air. Unfortunately since my room also overlooked the parking lot, there was noise and light pollution. This would not have been a problem though, but for the open windows.

Lots to see here in addition to the castle.
Lots to see here in addition to the castle. There was no wait line to see the stone and I still spent about two hours looking around the castle and grounds. Note there is a considerable climb up a tight, circular, old stone staircase to get to the stone! But you can see most of the castle without climbing.
Maranantha Country House was our favorite B & B on our trip to Ireland. The hosts were so welcoming and engaging. The rooms were incredible - beautifully decorated, spacious and comfortable. There was even a balcony that looked out over the beautiful grounds. The breakfast, excellent with hot and cold options, was made even more special by the lovely dining area. Maranantha House was only minutes from excellent restaurants and The Blarney Castle. We wished we had more time to spend in this amazing B&B!
Good location. Ample free parking. Friendly helpful staff. Good size room, with view of Blarney castle. Very clean. Comfortable beds. Good powerful shower. Excellent full Irish breakfast served until 12pm. Nice historic building. Comfortable reception and residents bar area. Shop, restaurant, and ice cream parlour. Would definitely come back. We checked in very late (past midnight) and were able to get drinks in the bar. The late breakfast was a big plus for us, as many places stop serving by 10am.
The interior was so beautifully furnished in a very elegant antique style. Comfort was perfect with all needs covered in a very large room and bathroom. We had a delicious buffet breakfast in a very pretty conservatory area, overlooking tge grounds. Altwyn was a warm and friendly host who was keen to make sure we were well looked after. This stay was a highlight of our trip. The little town o
f Blarney had great shopping at The Woolen Mill and cosy pubs and restaurants.
Absolutely loved the care, attention to detail and the extra effort put forth by Gene and his team to make our stay exceptional! Breakfast and dinner in the restaurant were top notch and our room was modern, clean, well appointed and you just can't beat the location to both Cork City and Blarney Castle! I can't recommend this hotel enough. This was trip "home" for me and the Blarney Castle Hotel made it that much more special to me :)

This is a very good hotel very close to one of Ireland’s most famous things you must do. Kiss the ‘Blarney Stone’ at Blarney Castle. Breakfast, which was included in the room rate, was very very good. 👍👏. The facilities for dining at other times very good also. Overall, a very good hotel to stay at. It is a value for money establishment.
The location was excellent. 5 minute drive from the Castle and Blarney Village.
Breakfast was perfect and filled us for the whole day!
Siobhan was the perfect hostess, extremely helpful with regards to places to eat in the evening and genuinely interested in us and our trip.
Will be back there again on our next trip to the area.
Book early. So the suite of 2 bedrooms came available unexpectadly, so we were lucky. Hotels in cork were 400 for 1 night for one bedroom and we got 2 with à kitchionette. The beds are comfy, it has its own door, parking and the host vicky leàves you alone. Its close to a garage wìth hot food which opens at 6am in blarnèy
Very clean and comfortable. I was traveling alone and felt safe. Convenient to town and perfect for being the first to arrive at Blarney Castle and skip the lines. A full hot breakfast is not offered but you can bring your own food and store.
Such a lovely stay in Blarney right next to Blarney castle and short travel from Cork city. Great hosts. Lovely house, easy to find. Plenty of groceries in the kitchen to compose a tasty breakfast from. Definitely recommend.
Great directions to the property and how to get in. Very comfy beds, and nice decoration. Parking right in drive of property. Very close to Blarney town centre and great recommendation for dinner at the Castle hotel.
The restaurant at the hotel was excellent. The rooms were very comfortable and very clean. The hotel location is excellent with ample parking on the street. We would stay there again when we are in Blarney.
We had a fantastic stay at the Muskerry Arms, from the food to the very friendly staff and location.
Would recommend to everybody, if you're in Blarney stay at the Muskerry Arms you can't go wrong.
it was in a great location for saying blarney castle. And close to cork as well. Has a real old Irish pub feel to it. Would’ve liked to have heard some Irish music in the pub, however.
Lovely hotel right across from Blarney Castle entrance - wonderful breakfast - nice pub for diner and great fish and chips! would stay there again if we have the opportunity!
