Excellent location, peaceful quiet little town with restaurants within 10 minute walk. Very clean, spacious and well equipped home. Excellent communication by Dario. He was always at hand to help out with directions, questions and suggestions. Very prompt and friendly. We were a multi generational group with kids and never felt crowded or cluttered, the rooms are large and spacious. I would highly recommend this apartment- the views are stunning and communication from Dario is super quick and friendly. Thank you for a very enjoyable week.

Very clean and close to the boardwalk an easy walk down one hill and you are next to the ocean which is really nice. The bed was comfortable if a little bit noisy when you move. The balcony was clean, the street bellow can get a little loud but once the balcony door is closed the noise is reduce and it’s easy to sleep. Bathroom was small but it has everything you could need and was cleaned. For 2 people the room was more than enough for the duration of our stay. Very close to the airport, even with traffic on the morning it took about 20 minutes to get there. Owner and staff was very friendly and gave good advice on where to go. Would recommend going to Tiny Mint for good fish and local pasta (very good price too).
Silia's Maisonette offers free Wifi and rooms with air conditioning in Marsaskala. The property is around a 4-minute walk from St.

The location was really nice - walking distance to a beach on one side and a promenade on the other side. We really liked the stay, the communication with the host was very good. Ersilia was very responsive and she reached out well in advance to plan the check-in. The apartment was very clean and had all the basic requirements. Highly recommend!

Nice place, very good to eat.
Nice place, very good to eat. But Malta in general is nearly full with buildings. So a lot of people, a lot of traffic.
Maltese people in general are quite secluded, even though everybody speaks English quite well. If you strike up a conversation with somebody in the street, you can be sure it's a foreign traveler too.

I also spent time in Valletta, Sliema and Gozo. I'm so glad I ended the trip in Marsaskala. It's a lot quieter and more comfortable the other places I stayed. It was the perfect way to wind down and enjoy the harbor, the people and the ambiance of Malta before leaving. And it's also closer to the airport!

We had a week in St Pauls Bay so our 2nd week at Marsaskala was most welcome. A quiet coastal village/small town and off of the main tourist route. Having said that, Valletta is only 20 minutes away and easily reached by bus for 2euros or a Bolt Taxi for about 12 euros. Bolt is superb service and cheaper than white taxis & Uber. We used them quite a bit in our 2 weeks when some buses were full.
Marsaxlokk 10 minutes away is well worth a visit, go on Sunday if you want heaving crowds around the market or any other day if you want to enjoy the fishing village with sme 70 fishing boats in the bay, a few market stalls and a very relaxed feel.
If you do visit on Sunday, avoid the stall selling 'Maltese' small biscuits & cakes right opposite the village square/Costa Coffee. There are lots of online warnings about him, items are unpriced but when you come to pay you will be ripped off eg. 5 euro for a 2" almond cake. He won't give you a refund if you complain.
In Marsaskala, 'Cool Waters' bar has excellent food and very reasonably priced.
Orient Market 3 is a big well stocked supermarket with good prices.

We liked St Thomas Bay - wonderful for swimming (there is a small sandy beach and several rocky spots) and for starting your walks (we walked to the village of Marsaxlokk, through very beautiful labdscapes).
We found some nice restaurants with very tasty food.
The town itself did not look particularly interesting to us, but we only covered a small neighbourhood, so wouldn't know about the rest.

Marsaskala is a busy harbour area for locals.
Marsaskala is a busy harbour area for locals. Some boats but not a lot going in and out. It is not close to a sandy beach. There are a few small supermarkets and several restaurants with different price ranges to choose from. The problem is if you wish to travel by car then it is in part of the urban Valetta area and there are very busy roads to navigate to get in and out.
Overall it’s a good hotel if you want to save up on money and don’t care about the room decor /facilities.
The decor is quite old, and also the towels and bedding, but they were clean and smelled nice.
We are interestres in the quality of the food. Breakfast was bufet and the quality was ok. Not the best - not the worst. The selection was quite small but that may be because there were a few rooms booked.
The TV is a normal TV that has only Malta Cable TV so we were stuck with old Discovery channel.
Overall it s a decent Hotel.
I wanted to walk and particularly to swim — the hotel was well situated for both .
Friendly staff with Mohamed running a tight ship — I had some airline booking problems which I was helped with . Everyone speaks several languages including computer speak .
Right on a busy road but close the door onto the balcony and what street noise there is disappears .
Good A/C , fridge and TV
Great shower .
It had all the basics .
Very clean and well serviced .
Next door to a convenience store .
On a main bus route .
While researching Malta, I liked Marsaskala - it is not as overbuilt as more touristy parts of the island. Village Corner is close enough to the bay and promenade, while offering rural peacefulness.
Green space is on premium in Malta - there is a nice view from the living room.
There are three bedrooms, each with a wardrobe and:
- a king-size bed and en-suite bathroom,
- a queen-size bed,
- a single bed.
A well equipped kitchen.
Kind and easy to communicate with host.
Great and large apartment with one living room ,one bedroom ,kitchen, and bathroom . Extremly clean and beautiful decorated, it also has a huge terrace from where you can admire a part of Malta. You have all electric appliances needed , in good conditions as some of them looked beand new.Hosts were really nice and helpful ,they even came to pick us up by car as taxi dropped us on a wrong addressed . We really felt at home.
This place is amazing- a peaceful location (though got a bit busy during the day due to local construction works nearby), yet just stone throw from all local pubs, caffees and restaurants located next to the bay (Il-Bajja ta 'Marsaskala) where you can try local cuisine or go for pizza/burger/fish&chips or pasta. Convenience shops are also around 5 minutes walk. Perfect stay for families of 4 (+1 toddler).
Our room was beautiful, very comfortable and clean. All the power outlets are a big plus. The smart TV to which we could cast from our phones made this TV the most useful I've ever seen in a hotel (although, other guests may control the wrong TV by accident because everybody is in the same network). Check-in was very easy.
Very clear instructions on how to access the apartment. Very lovely hosts who can provide lots of advice about what to see and do in Malta. Great apartment for a family of six with all the appliances you would want. Easy to get to the city centre of Marsaskala, airport and Valetta by car or local public transport.
If we are talking about the staff and the hotel only, 5/5. The staff were brilliant no matter who we interacted with and the hotel is stunning and the room is great.
Small print says charge for the aircon. I know times are hard but you can on charge people to use aircon on the Mediterranean in summer. Madness.
We spent a week there in Marsaskala,
the apartmant was great, exactly the same like on the pictures. The view from the terrace is amazing, the kitchen is well eqiupped, aircondition is a life safer in Malta.
If you rent a car there is always feee parking spaces in front of the building!
Highly recommended!
Wonderful Christmas holidays on Malta island.
Appartment has been situaded ca 15mins from capital city Valetta in really nice city quater in Marsaskala. The owner of appartment Jonathan was really kind and if we visit Malta again, we will stay in contact.
Fully recommended 👌
View from the apartment is amazing!!! Terase is greatest! Host was always available, even checking on us if everything is OK 👍
People on Malta are extremely nice and nice hosts, everywhere: shops, restaurants, on the streets..
Everything was perfect in this bright, new, spacious apartment! And it's located near the bay and some excellent restaurants, too. What's not to like? We would definitely stay there the next time we go to Malta!
There was no breakfast the location as you stood on the patio to your left. You can see the sea which was lovely, but in front of you to the left was an old hotel that was redundant, not the greatest view
Great value! The three of us were walking around Malta and spent a night in charming Maraskala. We made reservations here and sent our luggage ahead. Manager was most accommodating. Room was bright.
It was an exelent experience. Maria is so kind and she is always open to support you. Defenitely i will choose the same place for my next vacantion in Malta.
