We liked everything about this place including that they have parking but we didn't need it because there was parking right in front of the hotel!
The breakfast was good and they maker their own churros batter on site!
The hotel lobby was decorated for Halloween which we all found fabulous!
The gardens were lovely and the hotel is fabulously situated in the middle of the town. Everything was walkable.
I would love to go back in the summer to use their fabulous pool overlooking the mountains!

This property had a lot of character and it was fun to use a community room with a kitchen. We met nice people and shared travel stories. It is close to Granada and a great experience with breakfast at an old converted grain mill. The owner could not have been nicer. Make sure to check and see if the restaurant will be open for dinner

Coffee was very bitter but great selections of fruit, main dishes and juices.
Bar staff incredibly friendly and went out of their way to accommodate our cocktail requests
The views and location are fantastic. A great place if you like walking or to use as a centre to explore the Alpujarras mountains. There is nothing much in Melegis, but the neighbouring village of Restabal is a short walk away and has bars, shops and restaurants and a brilliant bakery. We ate once at Los Naranjos, which was excellent - otherwise we ate at a friend's house.

Melegis is a very small hamlet, and the hostal Los Naranjos seems to be the only place to eat. We did not find any shops in the village. There is a lovely well signposted cross country route (leaflet available in the hostal) which I would recommend, but take water and a hat if it is hot.
