A great hotel just a short bus or train ride into Venice. The neighborhood is quiet, and the prices are much better than in Venice. The hotel management took great pride in showing us what was where, making recommendations, etc. The breakfast was very good.

Set in Marghera, the Nuova Aurora has excellent bus links to Venice, just 10 minutes' drive away. It offers free parking, air-conditioned rooms and a 24-hour bar and reception.
Room was big with air conditioning and a big private bathroom.

the room looked like a fairy tale beauty and the beast :)
The management was very accommodating. They gave us space to snack and visit with our friends and provided us with water. We were blessed and appreciative, especially since we didn’t feel up to going out.
Also, in the morning, the croissants were freshly made for us and the chef was willing to bake another for me if I had the time to wait.
Also, one in our group was ill and the management allowed her to stay longer while the rest of us toured.
VERY accommodating!!!!!!

Close enough to Venice, and decent and reasonably priced restaurants. Almost nothing to do or see, it can be a drag to have to commute to Venice. Not recommended for couples, maybe more a place for families or bigger groups to save some money over staying in Venice.

Quiet residential neighborhood not at all far from central Venice. One bus will take you to one of the main transit hubs and you can walk to all the canals from there. Highly recommended if you're looking for somewhere that's less touristy and more affordable if you're not afraid of figuring out public transit in an unfamiliar city.

A very practical place for a short stay to visit Venice. Cheaper than Venice hotels and very easy to go to Venice - short and cheap trip by train or bus. Nothing particuraly interesting in Marghera itself.

Very convenient for Venice if staying on the island is too expensive. Trains take you to the centre and seem to be every ten minutes well into the night so you can fully experience the wonders. Marghera has bars and shops too for an early morning coffee. Quieter than Venice too.

Marghera is a nice, silent city close to Venice.
Marghera is a nice, silent city close to Venice. Our target was to visit Venice with family, and Marghera was a good choice to have a rest after a long day :) The public transport was really great, only 15 minutes to Venice. There are nice, cheap restaurants in Marghera and lovely coffee shops as well. Liked to stay here.
Everything was perfect. 10 min walking distance from Mestre train station from which olyou can get to Venice in another 10 minutes. Private parking. Breakfast exceeded our expectations. It is kind of hard to beat breakfast quality in Italy, as it is very good very much everywhere. But here it was a level up with many local specialties and very good presentation by Emilia the host. Emilia was excellent and very helpful throughout our stay. If we are back to Venice, would book this B&B again without hesitstion.
Breakfast was fine, but limited. The facility was more of a bed and breakfast, than hotel, and was old with dated style. The pluses were very comfortable bed…the best of our 3 week trip, and the location. If you don’t mind staying in a very modest (but very clean) hotel, this place is a good value, in a convenient location. There is a bus stop literally in front of the house that brings you to Venice in about 15 minutes.
The hotel is located in Maghera very close to Mestre train station so the connections to Venice old town are quick and easy by train or by bus from right outside the hotel.
The hotel is stylish, elegantly Traditional. The room was decorated nicely with local glass designs too. Very quiet hotel. Room spacious. Breakfast is simple but tasty. Good coffee. Parking is ample and easy. Friendly staff.
The hotel was in a great area, close to the mestre train station but also very close to the bus station that goes to Venice ( we took the bus and it was quicker that the train).
The room was very big and cozy, it was decorated in a special manner.
The host is a wonderful person. We tood us all abouy transportation, where to eat and major attractions in Venice.
I really liked how unique the whole experience was. Not living in a usual hotel building and instead coming into a place like this was awesome. If you come here make sure you're not in your room most of the time, this place really encourages you to stay out and just come back to sleep only. In that regard it's great value
The hotel was extremely clean, comfortable and very good for the price. The breakfast was delicious with all the good things from Italy - ham, cheese, coffee. The personnel is very helpful. The hotel is near a bus station directly to Venice and is close to Mestre train station. A good option for a short trip to Venice!
The staff was very friendly, and we were given directions to Venice. The bus station is only a few minutes from the hotel, and bus number 6 runs every 20 minutes to Piazzale Roma. Bus tickets can be purchased in the hotel for €1.50 per person.
The room was clean, and the elevator worked.
Would recommend staying at hotel Roma, the room was basic but had been recently refurbished and the air con kept it nice and cool. Easy to get the bus in to Venice, they ran late into the evening. Free shaded parking at the hotel. The breakfast was nice, tasty croissants. A great stay!
- very very friendly personnel (we've been told everything we needed to know about Venice to plan our trip accordingly)
- big room
- clean
- quiet
- nice breakfast
- Wifi
- parking in the back of the hotel
- a few minutes to the train station to Venice (1 minute to the bus stop)
We have stayed here several times. The hotel is in a great location for getting into and out of Venice. A bus from Piazzale Roma will get you close to the hotel in under 15 minutes. It is very comfortable, and the owners are always very welcoming and accommodating.
We went to the hotel in April 2024. Very good located, quiet area, just 200m to the bus station which brings you to Venice in 10min. Very kind staff at the hotel. Parking directly at the hotel yard. Very clean room and comfy beds.
The bus to Venice is very close. You can buy from thw hotel the tickets to Venice. The room is OK, beds are confortable. NICE for 1 night stay. The breakfast is one coffe and one croissant, enough for the morning start.
Nice new hotel with friendly staff and spacious rooms. Plenty of choice with the buffet breakfast but a bit more limited with the evening menu. The rooms were clean and quiet.
Bus links to Venice were great.
Clean and spacious room. Good breakfast. We sat outside the garden and had our breakfast, and we got serve coffee of our choice and was very good.
The buss stop to Venice was about 5min walk from the hotel.
Great location, value and solid breakfast. The hotel was quite clean and even though they are under restructuring/renovation, all was located conveniently and accessible without issues. Very safe location.
Location is very convenient for the travelers who want to go to Venice and save budget for the hotel.
Less than 5 mins walk from the Mestre train station.
Breakfast is good, ham cheese egg etc .
