Charming old house located on top of the hill. The room we got was quite dark but it was a blessing during the heatwave - the stone walls are so thick that there is no need for AC, you just have to remember not to let the hot air in during the day. Large pool with sunbeds will certainly stop the less ambitious tourists from venturing further away. If you can resist the pool the area is full of picturesque places worth seeing and Florence is an hour away either by car or train (with the train station within walking distance).

Incredibly peaceful, traditional Tuscan buildings, and very big swimming pool. Vicchio is within walking distance (about 20 minutes to the square with restaurants and 30 minutes to the station for access to Florence).

The whole estate is very beautiful. Surrounded by nature, very relaxing, every apartment has it's own corner in the beautiful backyard so everyone has privacy. Pool and pool area are big and surrounded by greenery, perfect place to relax. At a walking distance to supermarket, restaurant and train station. I was a bit worried about lack of AC because it was in the middle of August heat wave, but as soon as we stepped in the apartment we realized we won't need it, thick stone walls kept it very cool.

Obiekt położony idealnie dla osób ,które chcą zwiedzić Toskanie i zarówno pobyć w malej miejscowości bez turystów, Vicchio, Barberino di Mugello z lokalnymi klimatami, sklepikami, trattoriami (5 min do pobliskiej świetnej, rodzinnej trattorii i sklepu La Casa del Prosciutto!) ale tez zwiedzić duże miasta w pobliżu, Florencję , Pistoię, Prato, San Giminiano itp. Dla lubiących zakupy ogromny outlet w Barberino. Sam obiekt zabytkowy, grube mury zapewniają ochłodę (klima nie potrzebna), wszelkie udogodnienia dostępne. Super 50m basen. Gospodyni pani Oliwia bardzo serdeczna, a pan Robert bardzo pomocy, świetnie mówi po angielsku. Serdecznie pozdrawiamy.

L'appartamento è completamente immerso nella natura. Un posto magnifico, lontano dal caos della città. Abbiamo soggiornato a Poggio a Sieve durante il weekend del motomondiale, la stanchezza di quelle giornate frenetiche svaniva una volta tornati nella tranquillità della struttura. La proprietaria, la signora Olivia, ci ha accolti con affetto e disponibilità.

Bardzo polecamy pobyt w Poggio a Sieve - wspaniała i bardzo miła gospodyni, dobrze wyposażony apartament, bardzo duży i czysty basen. Cudowne miejsce, 15 minut spacerem od Vicchio, blisko do pięknych terenów spacerowych i wycieczek po pobliskich wzgórzach.
