This is a very special place overlooking the river valley and near the beach. I swam in the river near where it meets the ocean, which was amazing. If you are interested in the hiking trails along the coast, this location is perfect. I stayed four nights and did different trails every day. It was easy to catch the bus to and from Aljezur, for hiking near there. The main attractions are peace, good air, a friendly host, plenty of communal indoor and outdoor space to eat and hang out, a well equipped shared kitchen. And a beautiful deck (ideal for yoga) overlooking a pond. I loved the vibe and the location.

THe location is great. You need a car and go along 200 m of dirt road to get there, but it is very close to Ocedeixe river and beach (10 min by car), which is a must. Very quiet at night, cool rooms even when it is scorching hot outside, a few mosquitoes so come prepared. The communal kitchen was extremely well equipped, and a must for our family as one member has a very restricted diet and cannot eat in restaurant. You can be as self catering as you want. The gardeners Karen in particular, were extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms are spacious, carefully decorated, and very clean. Drinking water was supplied, as the water from the tap is not drinkable.

The countryside and nature, the cute animals, the furniture and the decorations that are so special and of good-taste, the plants around the property, the tiles on the floor, the bamboos on the ceiling, and of course the staff. I felt like Anne Shirley !

Quiet place 2 km far from centrum of Odeceixe. Our first plan was stay just for one night, but first impress of this place changed our opinion so we stayed for two… Nice apartmens with shared kitchen - everything in “old style” (we tottaly loved this!). Pool with natural cleaning system with plants was just cherry on top od the cake! For the whole time you are literally surrounded by the nature - on the way to a pool u can meet a donkey, chickens and another lovely animals… While having breakfast on the terrace with a beautiful view, you will probably have a cat for company 🤩 Be careful, she is always hungry! This place was a “hidden gem” on our way by the walk from Lagos… If You want spend some time away from tipical “city life” this place is tottaly for You.
