I was travelling along the southern coast of Turkey by car and Hotel Dalyance was by far the best accommodation I had during my trip. I'd like to thank Sarah, Sonic and every other member of the staff for being so welcoming, caring and willing to help. The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood with a general store and a couple of restaurants in walking distance. There's a plenty of room to park a car. In fact, you could even park a tank there. The city center is a 5-minute walk. My room was spacious and perfectly clean. The balcony was as private as it gets. The on-site restaurant doesn't overcharge and offers some great local wines. The room service is daily and non-invasive. I can't name any flaw, even minor one.
Located 2 minutes' walk from the banks of Dalyan River, Han Dalyan Hotel offers free access to its outdoor swimming pool, sauna and the Turkish bath. There is also a poolside bar.

I have loved visiting Dalyan for many years and never tire of it. The river setting is wonderful with lovely views on every twist and turn of the river. The boat journey to the beach is beautiful and very relaxing and the beach itself is unspoilt by ugly high rise hotels as it’s a conservation area. The tombs and the easy access over to the ancient ruins of Kaunos is another factor that draws us back. We also love going up to lake Koyegiz in the other direction.
There’s a good selection of restaurants and plenty of bars without it feeling too much. There’s also a great choice of trips that you can go on with local tour operators giving you the perfect mix of stunning scenery, unspoilt beaches, ancient history and culture, riverboats and nature as well as friendly, welcoming restaurants.

Absolutely stunningly beautiful Dalyan on the river.
Absolutely stunningly beautiful Dalyan on the river. There's something very spiritual about walking along the riverside path, especially at night when the rock tombs are lit up. Such a peaceful place. So glad it's a protected area, so there's no high rise blocks anywhere. The beautiful beach is protected also, and the journey there by riverboat is breathtaking. So many great restaurants to choose from - we were never disappointed. Lime restaurant stands out as one of the best. Dalyan is one of my favourite places, to which I'm hoping to return to many times.

It’s such a friendly town , the bars , restaurants, hotels , accommodations , the boat people. Dalyan is one of the nicest places I’ve ever visited, there is so much to do here . Loved getting the water taxi to Iztuzu Plaji ( ₺140 Turtle beach - English Beach ) , and on another day, the bus (₺65) to the other end of the beach ( Turkish Beach ) a lot less crowded . The English beach gets stampeded by the boats from Marmaris, around lunchtime so it’s best to visit in the mornings , what some do is get the boat to English beach and walk the 6km to the Turkish beach and catch the bus back . Sun beds are cheap at ₺50 (£1.50). There are plenty of different boat trips to choose from , you can also hire a private boat ( which I did with friends- amazing day (£250) 10am until 5pm . . Also you can do jeep safari’s , which take you to the difficult to reach places . One thing you must do is go to the top of Radar Hill , for a breathtaking view over Dalyan , Dalyan Delta , Sulungur Golu ( Lake) the mountains and the Mediterranean. Drove my car most of the way up , then walked the rest of the way , as the track was impassable in an ordinary vehicle . But if your not a walker , then this is part of one of the Jeep Safari’s. You can catch the ferry ( ₺10) over to the other side of the river , and walk up to Kaunos ruins , well worth the 2km walk , and on your way back walk towards the rock tombs , and catch the rowing boat (₺15) back across the river . My favourite place to eat was Natural Paradise Restaurant ( Doğan and his brothers will look after you , and the food is great ) and my favourite bar The Corner Bar ₺80 for a pint of beer , with two big screens to watch sports . There’s plenty to do to keep you occupied for 2 weeks for sure . And the season goes on until the end of October.

Dalyan is busier than I thought it would be with many, many bars and restaurants. Going in September meant an older customer base and we didn't see any bad behaviour !! A good base to do sightseeing.

Dalyan is a lovely small town, which is not over devloped as a tourist attraction. The facilities are great with an abundance of bars, restaurants, clothes shops and gift shops.
The town is nestled at the foot of the cliff bearing the famous carved rock tombs.
The town has a nice little park with a wooden decked pier at the water's edge, which is great for photo shots of the tombs. If you are lucky, you might see an open-air wedding ceremony on the pier with the bride and groom taking their vows against the backdrop of the tombs. If you do not witness a wedding, then you will most likely see a bride and groom posing on the pier for their wedding photo shots.
Apart from that, you might enjoy the turtle beach, the turtle hospital, boat trips to the sea and the lake, mud baths, hot springs, fishing, diving, microlight aircraft flights, jeep safaries, partying until 2 am etc. etc. etc.

The all day boat trips are great and very good value, the BBQ is excellent.
The moonlight trip is especially good. The Roman city is a must and the little cafe by the river is good too. The walk is not too far , also the graveyard on route is worth a walk round.
Taxi's are cheap and we found all the eating places very good.
We had a great time at Isil Suit Apart. The hosts go out of their way to make you feel welcome. You truly feel at home. The surroundings of the garden and the pool are beautiful, filled with trees, flowers, and adorable pets of the owners!
The room was very clean, which felt amazing right after a bad experience with another stay in Izmir. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had enough amenities to cook every once in a while. Besides, the hosts will provide you with anything - just ask! They are super nice!
The Osmanli Hani hotel is a hidden gem in Dalyan. The small hotel is built in a typical Turkish architecture. The rooms and bathrooms are nice and very clean. The beautiful pool is large and has wonderful views on the mountains.
Levent, the hotel manager is the most helpful person. He can recommend the best restaurants, he has managed our PCR tests directly in the hotel and knows the surrounding area for trekkings and bike tours.
We will definitely be back!
AMAZING hotel, run by the best people! We spent part of our honeymoon here and we were welcomed in and we really did feel we were at home here. This hotel is now being run by different people than it was 2 years ago and it is exceptional. Highly recommended. Rooms have been renovated, were clean and the bed was the comfiest out of all the places we stayed in Turkey on our travels. The pool is also immaculate.
The hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. The location was very quiet (off season and the hotel restaurant was closed while I was there) but also just a couple of minutes' walk to the river and the centre of Dalyan. Chilled background music played throughout the day adding to the boutique vibe and the pool was open even in February when most hotel pools are still empty.
Beautiful location . Saw turtles every morning at breakfast. Largest I have ever seen.Food very good and drinks great. The pool and bar set up is the best.on Saturday the did a tour and bbq.One guest caught blue crabs so they bbq them too. Owners of hotel ran boat tour. Able to swim off of boat with natural springs.Unbelievable! Peaceful property and short walk to other restaurants and tour boats.
It was near to the centre of Dalyan. The owners could not do enough for you so helpful. Breakfast was traditional Turkish and very good quality.
Enver and his family were so lovely and ensured you were included in all that was going on.
He helped organise trips for us exchanged money and really was there if you needed anything.
Lindos is a lovely small hotel, extremely well looked after with a very warm welcome from Lavant, the owner. It is an a beautiful peaceful location right on the river with steps down from the deck for swimming. Good buffet breakfast with all the usual things you would expect from a hotel in Dalyan. Would definitely come again.
We liked the location the most because of the private beach by the river in which you can swim with a private bar and the view of the Kaunos Kings tombs.
We loved the proximity to the city centre and the rooms were really nice, we slept well.
The owner is very friendly and helpful with planning your adventure.
The hotel was immaculately kept, I had a fabulous room that overlooked the pool. Hotel is located on a quiet road but only a 5 minute walk from the centre of Dalyan.
Cannot fault the hotel staff, excellent service. They arranged my transfers to and from the airport, which went excellently.
There was my first trip to Dalyan, I was there in the off-season during January for a few nights.
Very nice location, there was a nice room with a small balcony and comfortable bed.
Close to the hotel, you can find a lot of restaurants and regular food shops and ancient sites.
Villa Magnolia is very charming and clean and ideal for a family. We enjoyed wonderful family reunion meals around the pool while watching the amazing sunsets. Compliments to all of you who made our holiday very special. Definitely would return here for another holiday.
Great wee hotel! Very close to the centre of Dalyan. Spacious rooms that are clean and comfy beds.
Always got a sun lounger in the morning. Choice of 2 pools which was nice. The 2 girls working behind the bar very polite and always smiling.
Would recommend to anyone!
everything is so great! The host family is the greatest! we felt ourselves like at home or even better.
rooms are so clean, breakfast is great, the best olives and cheese.
right in the center of the city but very calm and away from tourist noise
Staff really friendly, so close to the centre of Dalyan. A small hotel, perfect to relax in, pool was beautiful and just the perfect temperature. Breakfast delicious and different every day
Awesome location right on the river. Really nice pool. The owner and staff are super nice and will make you feel welcome. I can highly recommend this hotel. Chill atmosphere
