Situated in the heart of the countryside of Modica, in an elevated, charming position, the agriturismo "Il Melograno" is a perfect place to relax and experience the tranquillity of nature. This family-run holiday farm, an old rural house recently refurbished with the walls preserving the typical local stones, offers friendly and quality service in an informal atmosphere. The comfortable, air-conditioned bedrooms are all en-suite with bath and shower; some of them also include a cooking area. The rooms, overlooking the valleys of the Ibleo plateau, are surrounded by a large courtyard and a garden where you can directly pick fruit in season: pomegranates, kakis, oranges, figs, prickly pears. The adjacent, country-style restaurant, serves traditional food, prepared with the natural products grown in the farm. Our guests can enjoy the typical dishes of the local gastronomy, such as "cavatieddi" and "ravioli di ricotta", that is homemade pasta served with tomato sauce and pork meat; pulses soups with slices of homemade bread; the typical "scacce" and "pastizza" cooked in stone ovens; "arancini", an excellent rotisserie product; local cheeses; olives; traditional sweet specialiti
