We loved this hotel. The room was large and extremely well-appointed. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. There was a large sitting area on the second floor with an honor bar. It made for a great place to re-group as needed. The breakfast was good. The hotel is about two blocks from the main square, which makes it a perfect location for exploring the old city. There are lots of restaurants around. We really enjoyed the ambiance of this place and it was one of our favorites stops in Portugal.

The hotel is old but clean and close to the city centre. The breakfast was exceptional and lady who was at the reception during day (in the moring served breakfast) was very very nice and helpful. Many thanks.
