They don’t offer breakfast but there are plenty of cafes and restaurants within walking distance if you want breakfast.
Location is great it’s a five minute walk to town. Staff was friendly and responsive.

Absolutely adorable little tourist area in this town.
Absolutely adorable little tourist area in this town. It's super close to Colorado Springs, but nestled within the mountains. So, you can feel like you're much farther away from the 'city' than you actually are. There are lots of lovely little locally owned shops and restaurants, and though we did not partake there is an adorable arcade/games area. Really wonderful area!

I loved Garden of the Gods, and it is free.
I loved Garden of the Gods, and it is free. I enjoy hiking and running and there are many trails in the area. Downside was that there were lots of other tourists there and you had to make reservations for many activities instead of going whenever you wanted to. Overall a spectacular city to visit!

Manitou Springs was one of the first early settlements in...
Manitou Springs was one of the first early settlements in Colorado. It sits at the base of Mt. Blue Sky (Pikes Peak) but too close to see the mountain. You can take a really pretty mountain drive right out of Manitou Springs and enjoy hikes along the way. It has a lovely Historic downtown area with many Victorian buildings. There are great restaurants and fun gift shops. A creek runs through town with a park along its sides and a lovely walkway. It's not large so a day or two in town is plenty for the town itself. But the mountains are gorgeous and you could spend a lifetime there.
Colorado City, Colorado's first capital, sits next to Manitou. It's full of antique arcades and candy stores, small walkways, and hot dog cafes. Both towns are just outside of Colorado Springs so the usual city entertainments, clubs, restaurant fare and movies are close by.
The Broadmoor is a gorgeous, enormous historic hotel to just go see. It's grounds are lovely, including a lake with manicured landscaping and walkways and the Olympic Ice Skating training rink. The accompanying Golden Bee is a very unique and old restaurant with a huge dark wood, mirrored bar, bartenders with arm garters, and darling embroidered bee emblems with sticky backs they give to children (or anyone else who asks). The food is great. It's the picture of a posh place in the 19th century West. Don't miss it!

The staff was rude and kicked us out after we paid because of a service animal and my autistic son. And take a copy of my credit card because of my service animal for seizures and told me that was unacceptable.

The desk people that checked me in were very friendly and I forgot to pick up my credit card, they brought it to my room for me before I even noticed I didn’t have it. We were going on the Pikes Peak cog rail the next morning. Easy short drive from room to cog rail parking.we wanted an early start so breakfast at motel was not served that early. Pancake House was just short distance from motel. Great breakfast! And was not a long wait.

The downtown of old Manitou Springs is well patrolled with some street car parking available if driving through at the right time. The shops and eateries kind of reminds you of smaller version of downtown Gatlinburg. The small town is very close to Garden the Gods and Pikes Peak so if you like novel places to stay this the place to get away from the chain hotels and get back to old town feel. The weather didn’t cooperate during my visit but if I come out to the West again I might try there again. I ate I think it was called the Oldtown Tavern. And there is a few buses that do free shuttle service into town.

This loft is right in the heart of Manitou Springs, and made our family vacation so much more comfortable and relaxing than a standard hotel. Every scenic activity is just mere minutes away, lots of coffee/bakery/ice cream options, funky shops and good food. Dedicated parking place, we walked a lot, enjoyed the views, and had a wonderful time! The loft was perfectly clean and meticulously made up from bedding to kitchen to lounging. We loved it.
The owner was an absolute JOY and was incredibly helpful with area restaurants, shuttle, and attraction information. She always had a kind and joyful smile for us when she saw us coming and going on the property. The beds were incredibly comfortable. The entire hotel had a retro vibe to it and we felt like family the entire time. We will definitely be coming back.
Although had booked a room, upon seeing it, did not stay, rebooked immediately into an alternative hotel.
Room was sub standard, carpet was grim, bathroom mildew, flaking plaster, cracked tiles.no bedside lamps, 1 bedside cabinet. Booked and paid for breakfast. Was informed no breakfast available now as end of season.
Breakfast was fine. Consistent with all previous Holiday Inn & Suites hotels. Especially liked the view of the mountains from the room. Suggest to all guests: request rooms on 3rd floor with odd numbers (301, 303, 305, etc.) for mountain view. Good parking. Hotel is only about 3-4 months old.
The location was great for going to Pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods. The staff was really helpful and courteous. Though it isn't within walking distance, the city of Manitou Springs is only a short drive and is fun to walk around, eat and shop, and it's a beautiful and historical place.
The room was spacious and updated to modern decor. The beds were comfortable. The variety of choices at breakfast were more than typical for this level of hotels. Parking was easy at right near our room, simply needed a pass given at check in to display in the window for security.
Located in the centre of Manitou Springs, in walking distance of many attractions and restaurants, it makes a very good base for exploring the area. A simple breakfast buffet is provided with plenty to eat.
spotless retro motel. Bed linens-and towels were clean and nicer than budget. Located on the road, but so are all the other motels in this area. Better alternative than staying in Colorado Springs!
Beautiful historic building. Valet parking, incredibly comfy room, fantastic restaurant on site. Best location for downtown Manitou Springs & the Pike’s Peak Cog Railway.
Very good hotel and well situated for Colorado and Pikes Peak activity.
Excellent staff.
Clean facilities and no issues with faulty or broken items/in-room appliances.
