Situated some 930 metres ASL, it is at the end of tram route STB that takes you into the heart of Innsbruck in an hour and is ideal for alighting at stops from which to trek through the meadows and forests. Good base to explore Stubai region. Though local tax may be higher than other places and there is additional road toll to access the region, the use of Stubai guest card to cover mountain cable cars and car parking cost provide convenience and enjoyment.

We stayed at Gasthof Gröbenhof on our way to Italy.
We stayed at Gasthof Gröbenhof on our way to Italy. We have never seen such a clean accomodation as Gröbenhof. Our bedroom and bathroom were both big and very comfortable. Dinner on the night of arrival and breakfast the next day were both very good. Recommended for a sleepover!

There is a possibility to have breakfast - and it is delicious and well worth it. The restaurant offers dinners - reservation advisable, excellent Tirol cuisine, the restaurant is closed on Wed and Thu though, but other restaurants in the area are open and excellent as well. The family was very kind and helpful. And we even used the sauna one evening - which served us well after a day on the ski slope.

The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, huge and comfy bedrooms with beds in old wood design, sunny balcony with great views, two bathrooms, Smart-TV with guest Netflix account. The location is great, quite and in 5min walking distance you can reach restaurants and supermarkets. There was even a possibility to order fresh bread in the morning. It was only a 5-minute walk to the Schlick 2000 ski area. The host was exceptional friendly and professional.AAndrikoAustria

Silvia made us feel very welcomed and shared a lot of insights on places to visit in the area. Thanks to that we've seen much more than we could've expected, enjoyed every bit of it. And Stubai Super Card that lets you use many cable cars in the area for free was another nice bonus. We're definitely coming back!

We never would have thought going to the Stubai valley with a toddler could have been so much fun. Breakfast is good with plenty of choice. Mainly Austrian/German cuisine at dinner but it was quite good. The spa at the hotel is nice and we enjoyed the half board and the extra space of the junior suite we booked.

Very good breakfast and dinner in Austrian style, the staff was very helpful and nice. The room was big enough and in a great condition. The weather (+22 at day/+1 at night) made it a little difficult to balance the room temperature, but it was fine overall. Overall bed was pretty comfortable which was important after all the hikes.

Rooms were really equipped about everything which are need to be used in daily schedule.
