Admire the view of Trapani as you dine on the terrace at Hotel Elimo, set in the heart of the picturesque, mountain village of Erice in northwestern Sicily.

Dinner was amazing and the staff was kind and very helpful. The pasta dish was the best I've ever had!
In the heart of the pretty, historic, little village of Erice, this charming hotel enjoys fantastic views of the Mediterranean coast from Bonagia to San Vito lo Capo.

The location is perfect. Right in the heart of all the attractions, shopping and restaurants. The taxi dropped us about 500 ft from the front door which was super convenient.
Just 984 feet from Erice Castle, Antico Borgo Erice is set on the main street of this historical town. This characteristic stone building offers rooms and an apartment, each with a balcony.

Antico Borgo is better than the pictures. Super cute and clean. Everything you need, with the staff close by. Great location. The restaurants and bakeries on the street are great, and lots of shops. The castle is a short walk up the street and there’s a breathtaking view on either side toward Marsala and toward San Vito Lo Capo.
Only 328 feet from the rocky beach, Orlando Vacanze Camere is 0.6 mi from Pizzolungo in Sicily. It offers air-conditioned accommodations, a terrace and a 24-hour reception.
LEO APPARTAMENTI con vista panoramica features air-conditioned accommodations in Erice. Featuring mountain and garden views, this apartment also comes with free Wifi.
Very old town with many things to see.
Many restaurants for all kinds of food.
Since Erice is high up in the mountains, there are few level areas. Great for keeping in shape! You cannot get lost. It's a small town. Evenings get cooler, so bring a jacket if you plan to eat on a terrace.

The community has a nice offer for 12 Euro to enter all churches and monuments in the village. It can easily keep you busy and running around for a day in the village. A bus from/to the village from Trapani is 2,90 Euro and takes about 45 min. The Funivia (cable car is 6,50 Euro and takes about 20 min + the local AST 21 or 23 bus to take you there for 1,40 Euro). I saved one cable car ride for the last evening just as an experience enjoying the sunset views and using it as a way to reach the village late. The last bus from Trapani is 17.30 the last cable car around 20.00.

Apartment is located in the center of the old town, which is very nice. What we didn't like is a horrible and continuous noise coming from the water pomp, that we heard in our room. It was impossible to relax with this sound. Moreover we booked an apartment with a kitchen, which we didn't have. The host told us it was put in the add by mistake.

It's a fascinating medieval town where we spent many hours, we also had a lovely lunch at the convent restaurant.
We also went on the cable car with its fantastic view of Trapani below. There was actually nothing to do at the bottom so be went back up to Erice!

Erice is a mountain found in the limits of Trapani.
Erice is a mountain found in the limits of Trapani. You can access it by car or cable car, I would suggest using the cable car as it is more comfortable. The road leading to the top of the mountain is quite long and full of sharp bends. The village on top of Mount Erice is picturesque, every alley has its own character, some of them with sea views and other with country views. There is a public garden that it’s a must to visit with the view of Castello del Balio, Torretta Pepoli and Castello di Venere. The place is wonderful.
The most wonderful hosts we have ever met. They made our stay unforgettable. They gave us the best high quality rich dinner we have ever eaten in Sicily. The breakfast was also very rich with many savoury and sweet choices with homemade fresh products and of course excellent cappuccino. Fantastic view from the terrace, fresh air and a good atmosfer for relaxing. Warm welcoming and smile all our stay. This is the place we want to go back to again for more days.
This apartment is in a great part of the city. It’s part of a complex of four that share a delightful courtyard. With a small kitchenette, an espresso maker and tea kettle it has everything you may need. Bars, restaurants and shops are near by and of course you are always near a church. I drove to Erice, and the host has parking outside the city and can pick you up there if you make arrangements. Great place!
We arrived in Erice and were picked up by the owners of the apartment, who gave us a tour of Erice and explained everything interesting about the city. The apartment had everything we needed (and more), with an amazing location in the center of the town. The bed was the most comfortable of all our experiences on Sicily, and we could even stay a little longer than usual and sleep in. Thank you for everything! ❤️
Fantastic location, and close to parking. Angela and Leo are lovely hosts and their apartment was extremely comfortable and well equipped. Very close to a cute little restuarant and a great take-away/self service eatery with typical cuisine. Erice is a stunning medieval town, and everything is within walking distance. Thank you for a serene and relaxing stay!
Al Postale 17 was a great little B&B right at the entrance to Erice. The host was a very nice woman and there is nothing I can really complain about or say was negative. Room was clean, morning coffee was great (I don't really eat breakfast but there were some pastries etc) and if you need to park the parking is right across from the B&B
they are amazing and so helpful. Beta came around 11 to fix our tv. Breakfast is delicious with some fruits, bread, fresh croissant and delicious capuccino with an amazing view. it is really well located and he helped us finding a discount on weekly parking that became really cheap compared if you have to pay daily
Erice is so cozy
Historic feeling, pretty hotel. The staff were kind and professional. Quiet and a very pleasant stay. We were there in April and there was free parking just outside the Porta Carmine town gate but you have to circle the town to get to it and stay out of the ZTL. There restaurant opened to serve us dinner early.
It’s located in the historical center which makes it easy to explore Erice at night when it’s the most beautiful, and just walk back to your B&B. The room is convenient with a good shower and everything you need for a short stay. The host is a nice funny guy too who makes you feel welcome :)
This was a last minute booking when my Airbnb fell though. I booked the room 10 mins before showing up at the hotel. The staff was so kind and welcoming. The room was ready instantly.
It was little more than I intended to pay, but well worth the money. Clean, comfortable, and a big room.
Location is amazing, with a wonderful view from my room. Hoeever, it is a 2* hotel, bathroom was super small, you can hear efrom the surrounding rooms. Check-in guy was rather cold, the morning staff was better.
Host was very nice, spoke fluent English, dinner excellent, room clean. Rustic country side style, in a little town. The price is fair what you get in comparisson to other sites we stayed in Sicily.
The staff was exceptional. The view was amazing. The hotel has a wonderful kooky charm. On my Sicilian holiday, I didn’t expect to cozy up to a blazing fire and share drinks with fellow travellers.
The hotel , the rooms and everything is better in real , the pictures on booking are really old and not good.
Also there is AC in some rooms even if it's missing from the picture and description.
The location was great. the breakfast was nice in the hotel’s panoramic restaurant. The hotel’s restaurant was closed, but the hotel staff was very helpful in getting us a dinner reservation.
Everything absolutely fantastic. The house, facilities, location and most of all the host Luigi, who’s super friendly and gave us great recommendations. We’ll definitely return to Erice.
