Bodrum is especially good for chartering a boat and explore the islands close to Bodrum. It has a beautiful castle for visiting. Our hotel El Vino was outstanding. We highly recommend their restaurant on the rooftop. Many good fish restaurants, good shopping. There is an active nightlife with great music.

We loved Bodrum. It had everything we wanted/needed. Sunshine, beaches, clear blue water, markets, history, excursions, great food and lovely people. It is a little more expensive than I thought it would be for food and drinks etc. but still had the best holiday. Some recommendations- Fast rent a moped for moped rental were great. Easy and no deposit required. Lovely little bar was kaya garden bar Cute local Turkish restaurant- Nazik Ana

Beutiful city, full of life and beutiful shops, restaurants, bars and the walk on the seafront, especially at night is amazing. People are very friendly and they make sure you have a great time. the food is fresh and tasty, just you need to make sure you check the prices first as some places are a bit expensive.

Very lively city by sea with lovely private beaches and boat trips galore on offer. Abundance of shops selling mostly designer copies but be wary: shops in Gumbet centre are cheaper whereas shops in Bodrum centre are much dearer but so is the quality of products much more improved. Seafood is widely available here so enjoy it fresh. My wife left her phone in the taxi that took us to the hotel, and when we told Seda she immediately contacted the taxi company to track down the driver. After several phone calls, the taxi driver came back with her phone. Without Seda's help we would had lost a phone. Roman architecture is very beautiful man at the front desk/owner is very helpful with booking cars or information about the city. we enjoyed our stay in Bodrum the most out of all the cities we visited in turkey.
